Christine E. Slagle, Principal Scientist | cslagle@martinandslagle.com Christine has 22 years of experience as an environmental scientist, QA/QC manager, and project manager. Ms. Slagle’s project experience includes the management, performance, and reporting of environmental assessment and compliance projects including Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments using current industry standards. Her projects include litigation support, permitting, property transfer facilitation, regulatory agency negotiation, historical operations verification, and site reconnaissance.   Robert Martin, L.G., Principal Scientist | rmartin@martinandslagle.com Robert has 32 years of experience in geologic, hydrogeologic, and geo- technical studies and evaluations related to waste management projects, civil engineering, and power generation projects. His experience includes soil and groundwater contamination assessments; environmental compliance assessments; risk assessments, design, permitting and implementation of remedial action programs under RCRA, CERCLA, and UST/AST regulations; design and permitting of solid, hazardous, and radioactive waste disposal and storage facilities; development and supervision of drilling, sampling, testing, and groundwater monitoring programs. Other experience includes design of civil works and hydraulic structures, design of earth fill dams, foundation and stability analysis, hydrologic and hydraulic evaluations, and hydroelectric power plant layout. Richard Beale C.E.P., Senior Associate | rbeale@martinandslagle.com RIchard has 37 years of experience in the environmental services profession, including positions in the office and operations management, business development, project management for environmental site assessments, remedial action plan design and implementation, waste management and disposal, storm water pollution prevention, bioremediation of hydrocarbon impacted soils and groundwater, environmental site assessments using ASTM and NEPA protocols and asbestos/lead-based paint studies. His experience includes management of environmental analytical laboratory facilities and environmental research and investigations for pollutant transport mechanisms. He has provided overall contract and project management for regional state and federal environmental programs involving site investigations, groundwater monitoring, remedial planning and community interaction.
